In Event of Emergency, GET OUT

The average response time for emergency responders in most places is somewhere in the neighborhood of ten minutes and that’s considered pretty darn good. What does that mean for you? In the event of an emergency, get out of your house. If there is a burglar, hide or try to escape, help is ten minutes away. If there is a fire and it’s out of control, get out and don’t try to hole up somewhere because help is ten minutes away. Ten minutes is a pretty good response time, especially when you consider most people don’t live next to a police station or a firehouse. It’s not so good when your house is on fire or someone has broken into your home.
