With computer security systems, companies often hire computer specialists to come and try to break into the system. It’s a strategy that works because the specialists are often as skilled as potential thieves and they can identify weaknesses that might otherwise go undetected. While you probably don’t want to hire someone to try to break into your own, you can do the next best thing, trying to break into it yourself!
This requires a bit of creativity since you probably aren’t going to be able to identify the obvious ways of entering your house, but just imagine what you would do if you locked yourself out. Try to open the windows, try to shake them or your sliding doors open, try to climb over fences and do all the other crazy things you would try to if you were locked out. Hopefully, you can’t get in. If you can, that’s one thing you need to change.
Now don’t get locked out or you won’t be able to get back in!
